This baby blanket was just a soft chevron stitch with a few stripes of blue..(since it was a boy) for a friend of my sister's.

This was not a pattern but just a stitch I used out of a book that shows many different crochet stitches. If you search chevron or ripple you should find instructions. You may even be able to search on youtube for directions on doing the stitch. Hope this helps!
