March 2009 Crochetlist Dishcloth Exchange

Received this from my Partner for March, Robin. She also sent a nice letter telling me about her family. They sound wonderful!

My furbabies sniffed it for quite awhile, but eventually approved.

Even though this is a dishcloth exchange, it matches my bathroom better than my kitchen, which is fine. I can always use a nice facecloth too!!

Thank you so much Robin!

Granny Square Dishcloth and Tea

Sent this to my partner for the March 2009 exchange:

She likes burgandy and I have never seen cotton yarn for dishcloths in burgandy. Since funds are limited due to me not working right now I had to find something to match burgandy.
I also added some tea. I love tea. I wanted to share it with someone!

Bushy Stitch Dishcloths 3 & 4

Here are the other two dishcloths made with the "Bushy Stitch" pattern from Ravelry. I really like how they all came out. I will definitely be doing more of these in the future. They work up so quickly.
These ones are done in Bernat Lazy Daisy (above) and Bernat Lavender Ice (right).

Bushy Stitch Dishcloths 1 & 2

This pattern works up quickly and with the variegated yarns (seems to be all I have right now) they turned out really nice. I have two others I am working on. As soon as they are finished I will post again.

The colors shown here are Faded Denim and Winterberry

Dishcloths for a Friend

I made these for my best friend, Bridget. Her kitchen is yellow (of course) with cows. I used two different kinds of yarn. Aunt Lydia's baby denim cotton and a varigated Sugar 'N Cream. I used them together on the third dishcloth. I think that is why it is not exactly square. But, once in use, I'm sure it won't matter!

Been awhile...

Update to this post (04.15.08) I found the pictures I took of the dishcloths that I made:

I made 3 of each.

I have not posted in awhile...we've had some major financial issues at home. Anyway, I managed to complete the hat (I swear I'll post a picture) and my husband complained that we didn't have any dischcloths, so I made two (also pictures coming).
