Recycled Bag Rug

Well I finally managed to get this project completed. And just as I was finishing the last row of this rug, I went to my Mom's house and she had 4 or 5 bags full of more......(you guessed it!) bags!

I do want to make more bags and maybe a couple more rugs. That way I can use the bags at the grocery store.

Baby Blanket for Julie

The colors chosen were based on the classic Pooh she decorated the baby's room in. It was not as wide as I would have liked, but I was pressed for time. It still came out really nice and super soft.

Matching Doilies

These two items are matching doilies. I made them to cover the two end tables that were my grandma's....even though I have tons of coasters, certain family members...still can't figure out how to use them!

So I figured, I'll just make a HUGE set and cover the table! Since my livingroom is blue, they fit in nicely.

This is also the first project I have finished since joining Ravelry.com. Check it out sometime.

This doily pattern is Pretty Shells found here: http://web.archive.org/web/20011004113830/http://

(this is not 2 different links. It is all one, but won't all fit on one line!)

Another Baby Blanket

This baby blanket was just a soft chevron stitch with a few stripes of blue..(since it was a boy) for a friend of my sister's.

Amigurami Dog for a Friend

This was the next stuffed animal I made....for a friend at work for her son. She wasn't sure if she wanted to give it to him or keep it.

Dishcloths for a Friend

I made these for my best friend, Bridget. Her kitchen is yellow (of course) with cows. I used two different kinds of yarn. Aunt Lydia's baby denim cotton and a varigated Sugar 'N Cream. I used them together on the third dishcloth. I think that is why it is not exactly square. But, once in use, I'm sure it won't matter!

Been awhile...

Update to this post (04.15.08) I found the pictures I took of the dishcloths that I made:

I made 3 of each.

I have not posted in awhile...we've had some major financial issues at home. Anyway, I managed to complete the hat (I swear I'll post a picture) and my husband complained that we didn't have any dischcloths, so I made two (also pictures coming).

Joni's Baby Blanket

I had not been working on Joni's blanket like I should. I actually found another project to start on (like I need one). I saw these really cool beaded coasters at Wal-Mart and decided, "I can make those! Why would I want to buy them?" So, I found the beads that I wanted, the wire I needed and wrote out instructions for myself. I started to string the beads, then stopped. Why? I don't know! But in the mean time, I finished another hat for myself (picture coming soon) and then picked up Joni's blanket again.
Mostly because I talked to her yesterday and she mentioned her due date, March 21. Now I have a deadline. And the pattern is not that difficult, and it will not be a huge blanket. I should be finished before that date. Should be.
