Crochet Kitty Cozy #2

Here is the finished Kitty Cozy according to the pattern instructions. I am adding a few more rows to the sides (so my fur baby will climb in it).

These are another couple pictures ... she knew this item was for her.

Cute kitty! The orange tabbie females are rare! I have a male (the vet calls him a "champagne cream" color), but I have had a female before. Ginger cats are so sweet!

Yes, my vet said the same thing about them being rare! He said it is some genetic thing (similar to calico kitties being female)

For some reason, when I tried making this bed it turned out really small. I've adjusted the pattern, but I'm kind of wondering where I went wrong.
Chunky yarn. I/9 Hook. I don't know. Any ideas?

Kristina: I used 3 strands of worsted weight yarn and either a J or K hook.
I am thinking that even though you used chunky yarn, it still wasn't thick enough. Maybe add a contrasting color to the chunky yarn?
Hope this helps, let me know!
